About Me: I was born in in Southern London in 1618. I grew up in England. I went to school at the charter house and when I left my comedy The Scholar was performed there. Then I earned his honoray master of arts at oxford. Then, I spent a few months at Cambridge.Following that, I joined the declining court of Charles I in 1638. I participated in two uknown campaigns against them. I did not give writing because of war. Through this drama, I displayed lyric, "To Lucasta, going To Wars." won me lasting fame. I was a loyalist and I was sent to jail for 7 weeks where I wrote many poems. In 1642, I sold most of my lands and spent my years in Holland. then in, 1646 wounded and soon I was arrested for being a royalist. Nothing is known about his death except I died around 1657.
